The Reynoldsburg-Truro Historical Society (RTHS) hosts fundraisers and events throughout the year to support our facility, protect the integrity of our artifacts, and secure the history of this community for future generations.
RTHS is self-sufficient. The museum is owned by the membership and receives no funding from the City of Reynoldsburg. We are a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, so all gifts and donations are tax deductible.
Our facility is entirely maintained and managed by a volunteer staff. We rely exclusively on the dues we collect from our members, donations, gift shop sales, and fundraisers to support the costs involved with:
• Building Maintenance & Repair
• Property Landscaping
• Parking Lot Upkeep
• Monthly Utilities
• Liability and Property Insurance
• Fire Alarm & Building Security
• Newsletter & Roster, Printing & Circulation
• Artifact Restoration & Display
• Website Fees
• General Office Expenses
Our year-end expenses for building maintenance alone is approximately $13,000 to $14,000 per year contingent on no major repairs.
RTHS is here to serve and educate the community. The survival of the museum depends on your support. Please help us continue to provide a facility of pride and preservation for Reynoldsburg and Truro Township.
